TREASURE HUNTER’S NOTE

This is one of those collaborations that works especially well because the theme actually fits the product. Rather than simply placing Mickey Mouse on a standard Columbia shirt, the design integrates him directly into Columbia PFG’s fishing identity.

The front depicts Mickey standing on a dock with a fishing rod and his catch, while the back uses another full fishing scene with Mickey casting his line over the water. The artwork is surrounded by a dramatic aquatic treatment that transitions from predominantly white at the shoulders into light blue and then deep ocean blue toward the hem and sleeves. Repeating scale-like graphics reinforce the fishing theme without overwhelming the vintage-style Mickey artwork.

It’s also worth distinguishing this piece from the Mickey Mouse PFG Super Slack Tide button-down shirt. The photos show that this is the long-sleeve technical performance tee / Terminal Tackle-style version, not the button-front Super Slack Tide model.
