This is one of those Grateful Dead pieces that works especially well because the design takes familiar Dead iconography and does something completely different with it.

Instead of a traditional concert-shirt treatment, Section 119 turns the Dancing Bears into a summer pool scene, with the bears lounging on brightly colored inner tubes—some wearing sunglasses and one even holding a beach ball. The aqua water-pattern background makes the entire hoodie look almost like a psychedelic swimming pool from a distance.

There’s also real function behind the artwork. The 92% polyester / 8% spandex performance construction and UPF 50 protection make this much more suitable for extended outdoor wear than a standard cotton band hoodie. It’s a great option for festivals, concerts, beach days, boating, fishing, hiking or simply being outside in warmer weather when you still want long-sleeve sun coverage.
